Character of this wine is similar to southern full bodied red wines made from over ripe, dried or noble mold affected grapes. This wine has the gift to enjoy a high age in good condition. Young has a distinctive fruit character and apricot color. Gradually, the color changes to dark cognac, nose getting more and more intensive and in the taste appears nuts and plum jam.

Rosehip must be harvested fully ripped. They must be soft and healthy. The ideal time is December and beginning of January. Rosehips contain a lot of useful substances, especially vitamins and trace elements. They are used in the treatment and prevention of many diseases. For high vitamin C content they are also called citrus in the North.
